Once exchange has occurred, we prepare for settlement, which normally takes place six weeks afterwards. We help you notify your lender that you have sold the property and arrange for you to complete the Lender\u2019s form of discharge authority. We ensure that you have signed all documentation, such as, the transfer and review settlement figures so that you haven\u2019t been overcharged.<\/p>\n
On settlement, we receive the settlement money from the buyer, and give the lender their payout amount. The lender will then provide the Certificate of title and transfer to us to provide to the buyer\u2019s solicitor. Once settlement is complete, we provide you with a full report.<\/p>\n
